Process

  • Idea

    Listen closely to the specifications and needs, then discuss, brainstorm, and exchange with others. The goal is to identify a strong idea which will be a guideline.

  • Conceptualization

    The conceptual phase is clearly the founding part in the design process. Many tools and techniques help visual expression and exploration.

  • Design

    Details are important, they bring the right ergonomics, the best color theme, the relevant pictogram, etc. These choices lead to intuitive interfaces, installations and services.

  • Prototyping

    Prototypes are good ways to test user interactions and identify which points are improvable. Experimenting iteratively with the final user is a manner of creating a user-centric product.

Aquasaurus

Aquasaurus is a team project build for the Museum of Natural History of Nantes. The goal was to create an interactive installation which promotes a prehistoric animal: Basilosaurus. The installation was presented at the Museum during a special event, "La Nuit des Musées 2013".

Concept video.
Principle of interaction is simple, you just have to drop off your ticket in front of the camera, and your Basilosaurus will appears into the aquarium projected on the wall.

Hunt | a place

Hunt a Place is a mentorship app designed to facilitate the integration of foreigners in a specific city / country. We wanted to bring collaboration and simplicity in the exploration of new places. The use of this application is based on a relationship between two people, one local from the city and a foreigner. Thanks to the application they can share recommendations, places to visit or ideas regarding various activities.

Jungle in da box

Real-time 3d game I created with Arnaud Perrillat on Virtools and 3Ds Max and the sound was designed by Aymeric Gara. The gameplay is a race between 2 characters, Diego and Guytoo. At each check points, players need to choose between two weapons, if they fail their character restarts from the beginning of the map.

Characters run into a jungle environment.

Our game was presented at Laval Virtual 2012.

The user plays with a sensory interactive carpet which improves immersion during the game.

End of studies project

For my end of studies project I submitted a concept called "Ini science" which was a science discovery kit for schools. The product's aim is to help teachers and students communicate, collaborate and discover various science's subjects. Using augmented reality and tangible objects, children will pay more attention to what is going on. They understand more easily science's technical aspects, so they can express to the others what they have learn.

The school will own a kit with various devices and objects.

Each students hold his personal tangible object which represent a planet, an animal, a chemical substance, depending on the science's weekly subject.

Setting up the equipment before starting a session.

The session takes place in two steps: first, students explore various environments with the tablet; then, they play a serious game related to the information they got during the first step.

1st step: Exploration part.
Launch the app.

Explore the environment by turning the tablet around.

User tests.

2nd step: Experimental part.
Once children explored environments and understood fundamental parts of the subject, they can play the serious game.

This application allows the user to record, save and play samples.
Once they have collected a sufficient number of samples, they can mix all of them and make their own beat.

Choose your sample's icon by dragging one of the library into the dotted outline box, then add a color and save it.
